I was delighted with the professionalism and helpful experience I had today at Halfords Autocentre, Cathedral Hill in Guildford. I took my car for an MOT there was a minor issue that the technician took time to rectify in order for the car to pass the test. He could have easily failed the vehicle but he decided to care and let’s face it given what we are all going through we should all do a little more caring ! Thank you very much Halfords and Damian in particular!

Real pleasure to get an mot and service done here, very professional and thorough. With discount 175 for oil change, oil filter, mot and a something point check, with a report excellent. Odd bits like air filters I don't mind doing myself so the basic service is great value for money.

I dropped my car very late on Friday as a warning light had come on dashboard suggesting there was an engine problem. Despite being late in the day Amir greeted me in reception with a very welcoming and reassuring smile, he could tell I was in a panic. I explained that I needed my car as I have to travel long distance for my frontline duties but realised that I may need to leave the car over the weekend. Amir was very understanding and checked with one of the mechanics who agreed to book it in for the next day for a diagnostic test and they would let me know what it was wrong and needed fixing. As promised the next day while in duty Amir called me and told what needed doing and they would advise me when to collect it. By 4pm on Saturday it was ready to be collected. Amir and Owen stayed behind so they could hand over and have it for my journey the next day. I am so grateful to them both and I can't recommend this autocentre service highly enough!
