Very traditional Maltese restaurant. Been there few times already an always amazed. My recommendation for food it will always be their amazing Maltese pizza! However, their rabbit pasta will hit the spot as well. Ask one of your friends to join you and they will do the rest.

We came here to try the Maltese cuisine for the first time. It was fantastic ! The quality of the food is high and there’s a very nice view on the port from the terrace (I suggest you call to book a table there). We took the fixed Menu to try as many things as we could and we definitely would recommend it
If you are around Spinola Bay and looking for authentic maltese food you should try Gululu restaurant. Prices are little bit high for main dishes, but some worth it. I had a mix of starters and I was very amazed by 2 of them! Good calamari and regarding the pasta with pesto, honestly I did not prefer it. Very nice location, in front of the typical colourful boats. Service fast and kind. Recommended!
Food was excellent, the only thing I can't get use to is people smoking where you are eating, as we chose to be outside w/ a view of the water. Pretty crowded place so if you want quiet, pick a different location, but the food was delicious! I had the stuffed zucchini, but tried the spaghetti w egg & bacon. It was cooked perfectly w/ a crunchy outside & great flavor.
One of the best places I've ever eaten in my life. Gululu restaurant is located in a lovely scenery with beautiful views. Tables are always clean and the waiters are very friendly and welcoming. I've tried the rabbit spaghetti and it was the best meal ever. I was literally crying when the pasta was running out. I definitely recommend, and I'll be back there for sure!
Maltese restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Gas heaters and blankets are provided outdoors. They have several local dishes, most with rabbit and fish. The food is pretty good just missing some more intense character. Friendly and fast service.
Great restaurant to try out local delicacies. Location is great as well, just by the waterfront. Service was good and the servers helpful in explaining the tasting menu and local wines. Food was good too, would definitely recommend if in St. Julians.
I was walking to find a restaurant and ask a local a good restaurant with a typical rabbit stew from Malte. And that lady recommended me Gululu. It was a good choice because the rabbit was so plus delicious. Well served and a the portion was more than satisfying. Recommend.
