We were only here briefly for 30 minutes for one drink however the staff were very nice and welcoming and service very good. I am sure if we had stayed longer for a meal, the 5 stars would be appropriate. A very clean, modern decor.

I love the venue. It's nice, huge and lively even on a Sunday night. Customer service is amazing. Food and drinks are fantastic. They have a wide selection of beer on tap. And yeah, their local red wine is superb

Had lunch on Easter Monday. Steak was fabulous and fish was so so. But overall experience was fabulous. Kitchen pumped out meals in timely fashion. One of the girls (tall one) was fantastic. Shorter girl was a passenger. Woman behind bar was very professional and welcoming To those demanding customers who hadn’t appreciated holiday trading, get a life. It’s time to relax and enjoy Well done to the club for creating a haven away from the woeful cafes in gundagai

Had meals there over the Easter weekend. The staff were quite friendly and the meal service was great. You did not have to wait long between ordering and eating. Which is always a bonus.

Cranky chef talking loudly, yelling at her kitchen staff. That old movie Ramen .. the love that you share flows to the food should be considered. So unfortunately, the meal we wanted had run out, which must have been good, the replacement not so great .. the calamari was overcooked and hard, prawns not fresh, no sauce served with the meal as expected so had to wait 5 minutes for that. However, Salad dressing lovely and Snowy Mountains Smoked Trout Bruchetta very good. A little disappointing when we were recommended to come here by the locals of where we were staying. Maybe next time!

We had dinner at the club this evening. My husband is a fussy eater and was very sceptical about the menu. I ordered him a steak and he was so happy with the flavour and it was cooked to perfection. My chicken burger was equally delicious. If you want a good meal, head here. The staff are very pleasant as an added bonus

My husband paid 50 for wagyu sirloin on a bed of mashed potato, spinach with gravy and red wine jus. The sirloin was thin. Did NOT look like sirloin. They obviously ran out of mashed potato as there was a smear of it under the so called sirloin and the gravy and jus were both cold. When ordering our meals, my husband also witnessed the kitchen manager chastising the young girl taking orders in front of three other customers. When collecting our meals, my husband also heard other customers complaining of the gravy being cold. Waste of money. And terribly disappointing.

It's fine food and fine wine set in the warmth and the friendliness of the District Services Club. And if you're in the mood for a cool crisp fruity number, try their Sauvignon Blanc from NZ's Marlborough Sound. All facilities are clean and the COVID Reg.s are maintained. And if you're likely to return, do yourself a favour and become an Associate member: it will cost you the grand sum of 10 for 3 years and you wiil save that amount in your first bill. It's lovely place.
