Customer service needs improvement. The staff used to be courteous and polite before but noticed that this is not the case anymore. I observed them this morning not acknowledging their customers and making them wait for their orders not even asking who and what items they were waiting for. When customers check the name of the packages in the counter- they would give them the bad look. If you are concerned about infection control then either post a notice in the counter or a mere acknowledgment of the customers would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I’ve witnessed this behavior. These are senior employees who have worked in this branch for years. I’ve seen them from when they were in their old location and when they moved here. I have been coming here for years. Service is going downhill. Management has to really look at this. Maybe it’s time for new set of people. We pay for our food and we expect good, respectful service.

I ordered an apple fuji chicken salad, light onion, no tomatoes. Got it home to find the salad was an onion and tomato salad, with very little greens, a couple pieces of apple and NO CHICKEN. Brought it back made sure to communicate NO TOMATOES, light onion. Got it home the second time. Again it was LOADED with onion and tomato. This time it had chicken and the blue cheese that the first one didn't have. They still got the order wrong, but I wasn't going back a 3rd time. This is not an unusual experience from this panera. They only get my order correct about 10% of the time. Not going back to Gurnee panera ever again! If I could give NO STARS, I would. 1 star is too many stars for this one panera.

Went to get 2 coffees. Took about 5 minutes. Not the worst as it was in the afternoon. But through the drive through the cashier told us he was giving us short change from what we were owed and stated, ‘I closed the register, I don’t have enough change to give you so are you ok without getting your money back.’ Even after the manager came over and was no help to us as the customer. Just beware, count your change and look at your receipt.

After visiting some of new the Panera Bread location this place seemed very dated. It wasn't clean and there were fruit flies hovering the whole time. Food was fine though.

It might be the worse Panera bread location of Illinois! In our last 5 orders, 4 orders were problematic (missing item, wrong item...). In addition, the wait is extremely long. From now on, we will be driving to Libertyville Panera location where the employees are competent and pleasant.

I am drinking my soup! I love Panera but either they are too busy or the individuals preparing the dishes have changed; the soup is very watery. It's not like them so I am very disappointed. Plus, they often forget one of the other (chips, baguette, apple, butter, etc.) when going through the drive up.
