Although I did not end up having the work done, the staff was very friendly and efficient. There was a small wait but not enough to really notice. I came in with intentions to have an alignment done however they were not able to do it without doing a bunch of other work first. I was assured and showed the specific problems by being taken into the garage. Very concise quotes. I would definitely recommend to others.

Tried there today because they offered a coupon for Synthetic oil changes, which is the only reason this is getting two stars. We were able to schedule an appointment online which was fantastic. Took an hour for our oil change to be completed after our appointment time. Upon arriving at our next destination, there was cash missing from our center console. We pick up the same products every weekend and use cash for it. We ensured we had our 27 dollars available in the vehicle as to not to forget about it. The 5 dollars was missing. So, to the Sears Employee who helped himself - hope you enjoy your latte on us! Karma will get you my friend. Dishonesty is a terrible trait.

Terrible place. I came in without an appointment last time since I had shopping to do and wasn’t in any hurry. They lectured me about not having an appointment but called me 30 minutes later to tell me that my car was ready. So when I needed my next oil change I scheduled an appointment ahead of time. I was early to drop off my car, checked in, and walked around waiting the 45-60 minutes that I was given for a time frame to be finished (which is absurd for an oil change to begin with). Fast forward an hour and 15 minutes I check in to see if I missed a call. I didn’t. They hadn’t even started on my car yet. Absolutely ridiculous. What’s the point of an appointment if it’s going to take 2 hours to get my car back?! I would give 0 stars if that were an option and I will never go to Sears auto for service again.

i've been to this place twice. first time was to buy a car top carrier. waited 10 minutes before someone would greet you and say hello. purchased the carrier, and installed it there. in asking if they could throw the box away, they initially said no and were shocked that i had requested such a simple task. second time i went, it was around 5 at night (they close at 6). i waited yet again 10-15 for someone to even say hello. this time i was there for a battery. i was told that they were too busy to do a battery change. first of all, it takes 10 minutes. secondly, i asked if i could just buy the battery, they give me the tools, and i change it myself. i was told no. won't be doing business here again. not service minded. not friendly. not willing to go above and beyond. no wonder sears are closing like flies.

I purchased 4 Michelin Truck tires for my RV in Hot Springs AR, they also balanced the tires and aligned the RV. I could not drive it over 50MPH, it was wandering all over the road. I went back and they could not balance the tires. They refunded the balancing the tires and found a local shop to do the work. Still bad. Drove back to Sears in Gurnee and at first they told me that my RV would not fit on the alignment rack. Mechanic looked at it and told me it will fit, but they do not have the tools to align my RV. At least they were honest, but i wasted couple of hours and two trips..

I got what i thought was a deal on groupon for an alighnment at sears for 49.99. 3 weeks after i got it done my truck was pulling on the same side it was when i took it in. They told me i needed new tires and wouldnt re do the alighnment on warrenty untill i got the tires replaced. I did.. Tryed multiple times to make an appointment but they always told me they were full. One day i call again trying to book an appointment and they tell me my warranty ran out! So after being told they wouldnt look at my car without paying i decide to book an appointment a few months later at a shop here in zion,il. They tell me they didnt believe i had an alighnment done within a year! And that i need new tires!! I was told my alighnment toe was off by more than 1 inch!! Resulting in my BRAND NEW front tires balding on the inside!!! Im beyond pissed! I called corporate and filled a complaint but havent received a call back. I highly suggest not doing business here. THEY TREAT THERE CLIENTS LIKE DIRT,WORK IS HORRIBLE, GOOD LUCK BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT... !!!PATRONIZE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
