DELIVERY SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! We purchased a washer and a dryer to have these appliances delivered. I asked for my washer to be delivered tomorrow Monday 11/6/17 any time after 2pm. Because an adult needs to be here. Called the 800 delivery number and had the over seas customer service agent whom I couldn't understand tell me that the delivery time was set. I asked how if I never confirmed. She stated then I will need to change the delivery date. What? Why? If I paid close to 2,000.00 in appliances. I have no other choice to have to wait for my dryer but for this company to tell me what time I need to be home? I even asked for the warehouse number to call to ask to be the last stop for my delivery and all the rep can say is I can give you the address. What?!? Horrible. Maybe best buy will honor the price comparison and I will have choice on delivery.

I just left The Sears Grand at Gurnee Mills. I needed to add to my tool collection and Craftsman has generally been my preferred brand because of their warranty and return policy. On this occasion I purchased the GearWrench 24 piece set and a pair of AmpLify casual flops that satisfied my extremely picky opinion. Overall I will rate this experience almost the highest possible because I couldn't find anything wrong with my brief time spent there other than the tool selection has dwindled from years past and few are MADE IN AMERICA any longer. I have been blessed with unparalleled vision for deer and evil! ALL GLORY GOES TO GOD ... Without the Lord Jesus Christ I am nothing! Check Out my GREATNESS on YOUTUBE!
Vast, open space, devoid of human assistance. A computer kiosk, professing to be a "Find-it Center", didn't work. According to my pedometer we walked 1.5 miles before we found someone, who was able to tell us but the store doesn't carry what we were looking for.
Rating based on phone system inefficiency. Don't try to call here and actually talk to someone. Phone system had no live person attached. Can't reach customer service in store, system doesn't recognize that response. Merchandise pick up routes you to some employee line for late starts. Apparel goes to voice mail. It's no wonder they're going out of business.
I tried to get an exchange for a shirt that costed 14. I bought a gray shirt and decided the color blue would be better and more professional for work. I was told by the store managers and representatives that I could not exchange the same shirt for a different color, even though the shirt was brand new and still in its original packaging just because, I was 1 day over the 30 day return period. I'm really upset because all their competitors would have exchanged the shirt and most likely congratulate me on my new job. In all honesty- I CAN'T WAIT Forever OR THEM TO CLOSE DOWN SO THEY CAN BE REPLACED WITH STORES THAT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. GOOD-BYE SEARS. YOU WILL NOT BE MISSED.
Horrible delivery service. I said that I will not be home between 8-5. They set my appointment for the next day between 11-2. I called and said I did not authorize that, nor will I be home at that time, so I'm not sure what the reason is for. Apparently, if you tell them a time that will not work, they will go ahead and schedule it anyway. After telling the gentleman multiple times that I will not be there, he says the delivery team will still go there and will just come back when it works for me. OMG, I've been trying to get a time that works..I just want my fridge! No wonder people can't get the delivery time they want, people are showing up to houses that have no one home haha. Anyone have a truck in the area I can use? Update: After pushing delivery out another week and being told it would be delivered between 5:30-7:30 pm tomorrow...we just got a call that delivery will be tomorrow between 8:30am and 10:30am. Just pathetic.
The return policy is ridiculous. Tried to do an even exchange on a Christmas gift, a blouse. Didn't have a receipt or a gift receipt , so they say " nothing we can do". Asked for a store credit "Nope" . Can't do that either. Asked to speak with a manager, got the same response. What happened to Sears????, it used to be be great place to shop. Been a loyal Sears customer for over 30 years but I'm closing my account. (Not like they care, just sayin) We live in a consumer society - get it together Sears!!!
Good Sears store in the area. The staff are so friendly. They have lot of collection and great deals all year around. FREECASH, Shop Your Way (SYW) points are sweet. Definitely recommended for Clothes and home appliances. One thing they can improve is Price checking machines. Most of them on the store are not working.
