What a delight! We discovered Gusto because of their excellent reviews - and we were not disappointed. The sparkling counters overflowed with beautiful appetizing foods, both ingredients and take-away foods. The polite staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful, making two Americans with little Italian language skills very happy for their assistance. Special highlights include the delicious prepared foods and breads, amazing assortment of cheeses, local packaged foods to take home and the wonderful wine wine wall of excellent 10 euro wines from Sicily. A must visit store!
Great place. On holiday and discovered this gourmet grocery store so treated ourselves. We got wine, beer, prepared meat and fresh prepared vegetable dishes along with desert. Perfect for the lazy cook. All tasted lovely. We happened to be there when the owner was on the shop floor and he took the time to talk us through all the food options and explain the ethics around selection of the best.
Great place for a quick healthy lunch if you walking from the ruins to the island. It looks like a chic supermarket(which it is) but you can also eat ther. There were plenty of fresh fruit and veggie (sadly missing from most local restaurants). All top quality produce.
It's a supermarket where you can buy your groceries and also have some snacks. Good availability but very expensive. To add, their espresso is bad.
