A very big area with good ambience. Though animals are less in number but suddenly you will feel that you have entered into the lap of nature mother. Calming and beautiful environment that should be appreciated

Nice place for kids and all age group of people to relax and walk and see these animals. But due to maintanence some part were closed. But it's really a nice experience lot of varieties of animals and birds.

Amazing zoo. Can take kids there and also adults and Senior citizens can also enjoy. Young and adults can walk the entire zoo. those who can't, Golf cart like taxi is available to take you through each Animals zone. Before going you can book the tickets online it will be much better experience. And parcels are not allowed inside. if you are taking you have to pay for it. And kindly maintain the cleanliness. Throw all the garbage in the bins only for betterment of the zoo. Those who are wondering yes You can see Lions and Bengal tigers. And giraffe. And other animals and birds also. Crocodiles are also there. So go ahead and enjoy. You can go inside and enjoy as much as you can.

Assam state zoo is a good place to take your kids for outing. Have much variety of animals and birds. Although many areas of zoo were inaccessible or closed. Might be because of maintenance or lockdown.

Nice place however very less animals than I expected. The parking space is big. Charge 50. Electric car is available. Toilet is available at various location inside the zoo. Children park is available

I had visited several zoo in eastern region of India but this is worst zoo I have ever experienced. Nothing is maintained all ruined condition. U can feel the pain of animals. Like they are starving and suffering from mental trauma. I don't know is it effect of pandemic or not, but animels must been prioritised. I urge to the authority to take immediate action over it else animal rights organisations may protest.

The zoo is quiet and calm. There are various types of animals, birds and reptiles. Entry fee is only Rs. 30 per person. Once inside, you can walk or hire an electric golf cart to see all the animals.
