I must appreciate that as a designer and proprietor of Zangfai I did not expect her to be so involved with the customers in her shop. But she indeed takes time to explain and show the products in her shop. The shop is spacious, clean and most products are beautifully displayed. It’s not just a good place to buy jewellery but I think it’s a great business model as well. But of course, it’s common knowledge that it’s tad overpriced. So for that I can’t give it a full 5 star. Overall, it was a nice experience there. All the best.

This is perhaps the best place in Guwahati to buy traditional Assamese jewellery. The place has a nice collection of various types of traditional jewellery made out of Assamese raw gold. Traditional gold plated jewellery is also available. The jewellery comes with a lifetime warranty. Nice place for wedding gifts and for people who want to take some traditional jewellery as souvenir.
