This's really a lovely place. This old station is like the station that turn you back to korean's student time in the pass. You can find so many kind of snacks that students were used to eat in the pass and that is found nowhere else now a day. There are some uniform shops so you can experience wearing student uniform and discover the town. Little town but so meaningful to korean and interesting for us, foreigners.

It is good to take a picture because you can walk along the railroad tracks of Korea, try on the old school unifrom of Korea, make old juck food or make snake of past memories and have a pretty photo zonn near the village
A nice narrow marketplace built on and along the unused railroad. This is obviously not like the railroad markets in Thailand and Vietnam where an actual train comes through but it is still a nice experience where you can buy some really delicious food, grab some snacks and toys, as well as, get professional photos done.
If you want to see 100 stores selling the same candy and toys, go for it. Not a big deal. Kids would like it but they will drive you nuts.
It's a spectacular place to look around feeling the old fashioned Korean culture of the past generation. I highly recommened to visit here if you find somewhere to get away from Seoul. It takes only 2hours and half from Seoul.
This place lies one of the most beautiful photo spots in Gunsan, it really worth the photos! Also there is a lot of costumes rental shop where you can put clothes from decades ago, really worth the visit!
