Best place for fine dining in Göteborg. Not cheap but not expensive for this quality of food and staff.
Sk is a high quality restaurant with regional food. As I started eating vegan 4 months ago they even offered a delicious meal for me that was not on the menu. Mainly all meals are prepared with milk or cream. We ordered fish and mushroom and it was extraordinarily good. Nice waiters and a beautiful room make it a nice place to recommend and visit.
Dining here was an unforgettable experience. This is one of the Michelin Star holders in Gothenburg, and you will very quickly understand why. The interior is one of the best I have seen anywhere. Built as an open dining room, the kitchen is laid bare and you can see your dishes being prepared in front of you, if you want. It's a genuine home-feeling. The food is exquisite and simply has to be experienced. Along with it, the staff is expert at recommending good wines. This is not a cheap place, nor is it easy to get a booking. However, it is well worth the visit.

We visited SK knowing full well that we were in for a treat, given the extremely positive buzz we perceived about the food and the atmosphere here. It delivered on every aspect. Their concept of fully open kitchen sure is a bit of a wow factor: they literally prepare your food a few steps away from your table and often times the chefs bring and present their work directly to the customers. Fresh seasonal ingredients combined with flair and attention to detail: every item on the menu (we went for a set menu with 4 courses) is consistently flavorful all the way to the desserts. Their award-winning chicken with marigold, golden beets and apple is to die for (unfortunately the picture didn't come out right). The service is personal, waiting personnel is truly competent and nice. The environment is definitely distinguished and somewhat classy, but you can still enjoy and intimate dinner feeling cozy and relaxed. The prices are aligned with the high standard of food and service. If you want a taste of how modern Scandinavian cuisine feels like, this is the spot for you.

Michelin level fine dining with relatively cheap prices. Tried the biggest set menu, 8 dishes for 900 SEK. Mostly food was beautifully prepared and tasty, especially sea food dishes were worth it. Some dishes were a bit boring though. Service was excellent although there was a strange gap in between, after the first few portions we had to wait a long time after which there rest of the started coming maybe a bit too fast. Definitely worth a visit anyway.
