I have just finished my 5 week block of classes and I can’t recommend this highly enough. My son and I started our classes when he was 8 weeks old and we have both really enjoyed it. The class is baby led and changing/feeding etc can be done at anytime. I loved learning baby massage and I use the techniques at home and it has really benefited me and my son in so many ways, from bonding to helping with his stomach issues. The classes are so relaxed and it’s great to meet up with other mums and have that all important piece of cake at the end of the class and a good old chat! Philli is a wonderful teacher and nothing is ever too much - she even helped with answering general baby queries we all had as first time mums! I will miss our Monday classes and recommend this to anyone looking for a baby massage class!

If you are looking for a relaxing, bonding experience for you and your little one, then Massage Matters really delivers. Set in Philli's beautiful home, you get the tools and skills to develop a lovely routine of massage that can fit in well to your daily adventures with your baby. Philli guides you through the different massages each week, as well as providing a relaxing atmosphere, time for chat and of course a hot cuppa and yummy homemade cake! I loved that the sessions were very baby-led with most babies in our sessions either sleeping or being fed through a few sessions! By the last week, however, we all had our wee ones on the massage mats at one time, showing that the atmosphere that Philli creates allowed room for us all to grow and develop our skills along the way.

Having baby massage on a cold and dark winters morning with my 2 month old baby was the dream! Philli was so welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxing in her home (much needed with a new baby) I have learned massage techniques that helped my baby with his wind and tummy pains. It was a lovely way to bond more with my baby and also the support of the other mums and Philli was invaluable when your a first time mum. A hot cup of tea and homemade cake to finish was my treat of the week (hot cups of tea with a new born are few and far between so it was much appreciated) I highly recommend this 5 week treat and I am now enjoying the follow on classes just as much!
