The worst place to return a car that I have ever been to. TERRIBLE customer service. This is not a real Hertz. No parking, when asking where to park, they tell you not here, not our problem. You keep looking 3, 4 people tell you you can't park. Had to park in double line. The agent is only busy telling me not to park. I tell him I need to return the car. I am a Hertz One customer. He doesn't care. I left the keys and told him it is his problem. The agent starting behaving offended. The agency manager arrived. He didn't even apologize. Hertz in Israel cost close to TWO TIMES more than any other car rental agency. You expect a much higher standard of service. But what I got is the worst experience ever

I've been working with Hertz Israel for more than an year now. Trash company, doesn't include a descent service. You can be on hold for hours waiting for service, and they will seek ways to include irrelevant payments, they will seek ways to extract as much as profit as they can. Take pictures of the car you receive, even give a test run and don't trust anything said by the stuff.

This is now my third time renting from Hertz on HaHistadrut Ave in Haifa and I can confidently say that they are the best car rental company in Israel. I will never go anywhere else but here to get a car. One time I tried to rent a car with Avis on HaHistadrut Ave, but was treated so poorly that I ended up walking out in less than five minutes and just took a taxi to Hertz. I told Hertz about my predicament and they were able to give me a car immediately even though their website said they didn't have anything available for the dates I needed it. They were really accommodating and kind. Please just save yourself the time and hassle with the other car rental companies and just go to Hertz! You will be so happy you did.

I rented hertz car in Germany. In airport they didn't like the fact we did insurance with third side. Hertz wanted us to take their insurance which was more expensive than the rental itself. Bringing the car back they accused us for a scratch in the rim of tyre. They charged us 212 euros. Another 50 euros for sending a post mail. My suggestion as someone who works in tourism is very very simple. Stay away from hertz and their partners Dollar and Thrifty. The amount they hold in the deposit at the beginning, you will never see back.
