This place is actually a ruined Crusader fortress, built by the Franks and held for more than 200 years in the early Medieval era. It has a ruined keep with a vault and arrowslits surviving to this day. If you walk around you can also see ruins of the wall surrounding the castle, known as Francheville. Situated on a hilltop, it offers great views of the Haifa bay. It needs to be cleaned up as it is in a sorry state.

Nice place for a picnic
Nice calm place to visit.
Its a very nice medieval castle built by the Crusaders, its a place where you can see the Haifan urban nature. But it's a shame the castle itself isn't maintained by the local city government.
Ancient place. Without any tourists support. No public restrooms. Great view of Haifa bay.
Great view, nice casstle...
all the paths are overgrown with grass, considerable effort is required to approach the ruins of the fortress
Small, but interesting off way view close to the street
