Simple hike, nice falls. There are other better hikes along the road to hana!

Perfect spot before road to Hana! We traveled with kids so figured this was a good spot. The parking wasn't bad, plenty of street parking as the lot itself is really small. Just don't leave any valuables it looks or items that may look like they contain valuables, as we saw broken glass by street parking. Shortly after you start the hike, there's the first fall. This one is smaller and but a easy to get to especially if you have kids. Continue further down the trail and you'll reach the more popular second fall. The water is cool but considering hot humid temps, it felt great! After your hike, there's a snack truck parked right by the entrance. We had fresh coconut, but the water was not sweet and banana bread a bit starchy. Tip: beware of the porta-potties, they are disgusting!

Loved this little hole in the jungle area! Found a bamboo forest bigger then I could have ever imagined! Enticed to spend more time hiking here and getting to know the trail off the beaten path. Saw some guinene Hawaiian flowers that were still in bloom in December! In aw of all the beautiful sites. Only downfall was the mosquitoes.. so come baring good essential oils to keep the buggers away!

Small hike. Have 2 places on the way which you need to walk through shallow water. Use proper shoes. There will be a gate on the way saying only for experienced hikers, you have to go through this to reach twin fall. Easy to medium hike. Twin fall is beautiful and a must visit

The hike to the first waterfall is very short and easy. Anyone could do it and it's worth the stop. The hike to the second falls wasn't too tricky, but I can see why it's dangerous if the water is high. You do have to cross a small river with a rocky bottom. We may have lucked out - the water barely came up to the top of our hiking boots - when we were there. I saw a few people in flip flops, but definitely would not recommend doing that. You have to walk on a lot of rocks and uneven surfaces.

This is paradise! A must see for everyone who comes to Maui. The first waterfall is nice, but dont stop there. The second waterfall is amazing. And dont be fooled by the "Experienced" hiker warning. This is not a difficult hike. The only place of concern is a small creek crossing that could get sketchy at times of heavy rainfall. On the other hand, after completing this hike, do not assume you are an experienced hiker and attempt a legit difficult hike. I would recommend wearing sandals or shoes you dont mind walking in the water with. You can go barefoot, but the rocks may be hard on the bottoms of your feet. The water feels great so be sure to wear your swimsuit

Love Twin Falls Hikes! Great place to make a pit stop from on your way to Hana town along Hana Highway. Very busy in the mornings with the Tourist traffic to Hana Town every morning. ease be patient driving in and out and along the highway to find parking. Please be respectful and please walk with respect. Beautiful botanical gardens, nice rivers and beautiful waterfalls, depending if there has lots of water or not from the rains. If so, please be careful, slippery areas and slippery mossy rocks. Great, easy hike , could go maybe a half mile to a mile, depending on how much time you want to stop by and explore. I definitely recommend stopping by the Smoothie bus/food truck at the entrance, either at the start or as you leave. Please pick up after yourselves and help maintain Twin Falls beauty. They have great smoothies, great Banana Bread, coconuts, Sugar Stalks, and even cold sugar stalk popsicles! .
