Wow....amazing views! Views that will make you dream longer at night. If you can be without services, you can get front row to the view. With full services, you’re in the back row, but it’s still an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and see, because it is not a big campground. The shower is 3 for 6 minutes, but it’s a great shower and very clean. There is only 1 shower, so plan ahead, if the campground is busy. The owner Joyce is a gem and so is her camp host. This campground is walking distance to town and many of the main sights, so it’s very convenient. 2 grocery stores in town: IGA is right in the middle of town and the Mountain Market (organic and healthy foods) just a couple of streets from Main Street. We had drinks at Fogcutter and met a whole bunch of locals. Even the mayor hangs out there! Great town and great campground. As we were leaving, we realized we had a slow leak in our truck tire. We asked if they knew of a place to get it fixed…and yes, it got fixed by the campground owner, right next door. We were on our way within 30 minutes. That’s what you call full service! Thank you.

While the appearance of the RV camp leaves a bit to be desired (lot of construction in July 2020), the location and price make Oceanside a sure thing. It's a 5 min walk to all the services in Haines. Extra bonus for tenters like myself, the nice people at Oceanside let me set up under their shelter. We need more tent shelters in Alaska :). The shower was 3 but is high pressure and hot and my initial balk. There's no free WiFi in Haines these days so that doesn't count against them. All in all quite satisfied with Oceanside despite the construction site appearance.
Great place to park! The view is worth the price. The employees were Awesome. Very tight parking, but the view made it worth the squeeze.
We were on a gravel site right on the water with no hookups. It was stunningly beautiful. The old fashioned bathrooms are in the office so not very private. The sites are really close together...slide out to slide out. No place to walk the dogs except along the street.
Great spot for vagabonds to refresh. Friendly, clean and fair prices for laundry and showers. Convenient location is walking distance from town and places to eat while you wait.
Nice place, nice people who run it. A great place right on Lynn Canal. Full hook up! Or you can choose none. We'd stay there's again if we brought a motor home to Haines.
