We've used A & L Septic Service to drain and provide maintenance on our septic system since 1991. These guys are professional, punctual and friendly. We are very happy with this company and recommend them to anyone who owns a home with a septic system.

Have used A&L for years. Typically they do a good job. I had a coupon that included “free” bacteria treatment for a year with a septic pump out in May 2020. Service man said he did not have any bacteria with him, and I needed to call office in 2 weeks to get the bacteria. I did that and was told they would be out the next day. When it did not arrive, called back 3 more times over the next 3 months. It still has not arrived. Disappointing. A&L has lost a customer to one of their competitors. REVISION: Company representative dropped off Bacteria treatment a couple of days ago. Will most likely continue to use A&L in the future. Raised rating from 3 star to 4 star.
This company is horrible. They are rip offs and scam artist. My parents hired them to empty there septic and a week later the tank was found to be full. When I called another septic company to empty it, that company said A&L never removed the solids. There was 5 years worth of build up that hardened because the tank was never emptied. Don’t use this company. Any septic company is better than these people. I think them having 2.9 stars is a scam. -1 star would be more believable....
Do not understand the negative reviews. The people at A&l have always given me great service in a very professional way. I have been using them for years and will remain a loyal customer as long as they remain in business.
If I could give this company negative zero stars, I would...... Its pretty horrific when other septic companies in south jersey say, they heard a lot of horror stories about this company. They are scam artists. They will empty the water out your tank, leave the solids and charge you for emptying it. You will wind up spending more money in the long run to fix the damages they cause. You are better off paying a few more bucks and going with a more reputable company.
