This is a truly awesome place. They have a Taiko drum that reaches to the ceiling, and for a small fee they let you play that and any other taiko in the exhibit! Me and my friend spent hours there. So much fun!
The best Taiko place in Japan. The people are friendly and eager to share their vast reserves of knowledge and wisdom of this ancient Japanese art. The owners don't mind if you take pictures, in fact they welcome it. The site consists of an outlet shop to buy real Taiko drums and supplies as well as quality souvenirs, a small museum with 2 gigantic drums that visitors are allowed to try, and a factory that is not accessible to the general public.
社長をはじめ、従業員の皆さんの挨拶から接客、商品の相談等、丁寧な対応有難う御座居ます。また、毎朝、社員の皆さんでの公道清掃、御苦労様です。有難う御座居ます、感謝しています。
太鼓や雅楽器が多数展示してあります。また太鼓の講習や、お土産にもなるミニ太鼓の制作も出来ます。 太鼓のバチには刻印サービスもあります。 説明も丁寧にしてくれ、お茶とお菓子のサービスがありました。 またちょくちょく訪ねてみたいと思います。
このへんで太鼓といえばここの店。太鼓の品質についてはいうことなし。バチのアウトレットも売ってるので色や節のありなしにこだわり無い人にはおすすめ。
太鼓と言えば、浅野楽器店です。ここの太鼓を打ちきれれば、あなたはプロです。原木から太鼓が出来上がる迄の工程を見に行かれると、良さがわかると思います。
日本の太鼓のトップメーカーとして活躍しているだけではなく、ミュージアムも併設して打楽器の歴史や世界の打楽器がいながらにして見れるようにしているところなどは素晴らしいですね。
