A lovely place to have a meal. We went to celebrate my Moms 80th birthday. The staff are extremely friendly & attentive. The whole of our party enjoyed our visit, even my 18 month of Grandson was catered for. An outstanding, excellent service. We WILL be going again

Really nice little place. Car parking easy for disabled. Seating was comfortable. Toilets nice and clean. Disabled also clean and tidy. Food was delicious. Well cooked and presented and served. Staff very helpful and kind. Really enjoyed the experience. Thank you.
Food was lovely however the guy on the salad bar was really snappy to my child age 5 and age 8 they were pointing out what they would like and he became agitated yes I know they cant touch anything and they didnt but the way he approached my children made me upset As you can imagine children of this age are adapting to the strangeness of how things have changed when being out theres ways of speaking to a child and I made this clear to him Also guy at the door asked how many menus I'd like and who for I was looked at then addressed to say my oldest child wernt allowed a childs menu and said childs menu for him YES that's what I asked for I know my child and what he is capable of eating he cant eat big meals hense why I said childs menu I've had many of visits here but today was put off by miserable staff
Excellent service- friendly too. Very well set up for covid. Food was good- arrived quickly, piping hot and generous portions.
Hats off to the staff at The Fox Hunt for the way they are still serving good food under current regulations. We had not been there since before lockdown and they have got it just right. Was worried the signature salad bar would be out of action, but it is still open, just manned by a server. I have to say I prefer it as it keeps grubby fingers out of the pasta!! Also probably more cost effective too, as some customers will be less likely to be greedy and abuse it, by having dishfulls of food they don't really want or just don't eat. Very impressed with their efforts, will return again soon.
Come on guys lets get this place open. Really missing it :0)
Thank you for responding! While it is clear that you are working under very tough circumstances staff were just not attentive enough. No checkback meant my sons incorrect food was not changed and I had to share mine. Food was refunded but simple standards can avoid poor service. A smile here and there also goes a long way rather than feeling like you are an inconvenience. I hope normal service resumes for us all very soon
If you are keen on social distancing at the moment then this unfortunately is not for you. We booked in advance for a large family, and I do understand how difficult it is to manage this, however the table were VERY close together, including some tables which are completely back to back giving I would guess 20-30cm between diners. Whilst I get the need to build uk business as much as possible it seems to be against current recommendations and unfortunately I would not eat there again until tables have been readjusted to suit (the food was OK whilst eating, but the service was slow which would be understandable in the current climate)
