The little walk down by the beach is cute. But we also parked up on the road and the hiked through the woods up to a viewpoint. We felt like we were the only ones in the park for the most part. It was magical. Lots of blown down trees and debris, post a wind storm.

Beautiful place to explore and walk, you will find many surprises, wildlife and many trails. I enjoy my walk and have a good exercise. Just love it!

Very busy recreation area, parking is extremely limited. Physical distancing does hamper the overall experience but necessary in these times. Very limited facilities. Nice walking trail. Low tide best time to come to enjoy sandy bottom. Loved it! Pack a lunch and sunscreen!

One if the best hikes we have done! The water is so clear you would think you are in the Caribbean! Only it is cold of course! You can still swim....probably in the summer only. The views are spectacular. It is about 5km both ways, more easy than intermediate but it has some steep parts. We saw dogs swimming but on the trail they were on leash.

This is amazing place to relax on a hot day. The water here is generally calm, even on the more rough of days. It can get quite busy, especially during the tourist months, but it's well worth it to come down any time. Whether it's for a relaxing swim, a nap on the beach or to watch the sunset, this place is perfect. Parking can be a little bit tight during the busy times, so plan ahead for that. The beach isn't really sandy, more rock based, and there's a lot of logs standing between the parking lot and the beach. All in all, 5 stars. You need to stop here if you're in the area.
