Very affordable with a man that is talented at his craft. You can get a haircut while your partner shops or has a beer in Keith's. This place is good for residents and tourists.

I had both Chris and Karen and they are both up there among the top hair stylists I have encountered to date. They have demonstrated excellent professionalism, skills, as well as characters. A big plus is also the location, which cannot get any better being so close to the water. I would recommend anyone who simply wants the fanciest hairstyle to this salon. It is definitely a highlight of a week having my hair done here while sipping the complimentary coffee!

I was trying to find a blonde hair specialist back in July just because I wasn't happy with my current stylist. They messaged me back on instagram very fast and had set up a time for me to come in for a consultation to see where my hair is which is fine and I replied back that it would work for me. They NEVER messaged back until today expecting me to still call in for a hair appointment. Just disappointed with the service is all, I really wanted to give the hair factory a chance. (I wouldn't have written a review if they hadn't messaged me back because it just feels like they care even less)

Ask for Chris, he gave me the best haircut of my entire life, he has incredible attention detail, the colour of my hair is phenomenal and the cut is close to perfection I could not be more impressed. Best salon in Halifax. Thanks Chris!

Chris cut my hair and did an amazing job. Very friendly and spoke with me about my hair before starting and was very helpful with suggestions. As I'm an overseas traveller it always makes you feel a bit more relaxed when the hairdresser you pick is so nice and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Karen fixed a bad haircut (from another salon) for me at very short notice, and from the moment she said hello I knew I was in safe hands. She took me from blah and unhappy to cool and confident! Woohoo! A fantastic experience, highly recommended. Will be going back for SURE.
