Having HomeExcept has allowed my beloved 94 year old grandmother to keep living alone, with dementia, in the house her late husband built for her when they were a young family. HomeExcept provides that extra peace of mind between visits, as it alerts us to unusual behaviour, like when she hasn't rocked in her favourite chair in the last hour or if she opens the door in the middle of the night. While we also use additional equipment like cameras and stove safety equipment, HomeExcept has been central to keeping Granny safe. HomeExcept has even helped us to reassure Granny that she didn't leave the house when she dreamt she did - not an easy task! Thank you everyone at HomeExcept!
