It’s the best school in the world. I highly recommend Kumon in Halifax . We saw instant results from both of our daughters school math scores always A and improved confidence. Miss Janet instantly connected with our daughters and made learning easy and fun.

Very positive expérience. My daughter gained confidence and made huge improvement in maths. She developped both basic ànd advanced maths skills which a great plus at High school.

Janet Lee is one of the worst person and rude. She kicked my sister out because my mom was not there to take her. She didn’t even listen to my explanation. Janet is very rude, I can’t believe that Kunon is still keeping her after so many bad reviews about her. Even the Komon customer service won’t help. I contact them about Janet Lee and they did nothing to control her. Kumon is waste of your money and time.

I would highly recommend Kumon Halifax. I am trained as a school teacher . My daughter has made great strides in reading and math since she has started. I have also noticed it has given her great confidence, work ethic, and the ability to sit and focus on the task at hand. Her fine motor has improved as well, thanks to Zun Zun worksheets. I like the repetition for basic math—although this technique isn’t for everyone, it’s something that I find is reminiscent of my own childhood educational experience (memorizing those multiplication tables) but is not a technique used in today’s classroom, and in my opinion, it certainly doesn’t hurt in my daughter’s case. I do make sure she is understanding of the concept, but the exposure to repetition and practice she experiences at Kumon is really helpful. I also love how students only move onto the next level when they have fully mastered the work.... this is also different from classrooms today, because classroom teachers are really spread thin, they’re working very hard, but due to classroom conditions and teacher workload, often students are pushed onto the next unit or concept before they have fully mastered the previous one. The owner is fantastic and it’s very obvious that she cares about the progress of the students. Kumon, paired with support and awareness at home, as well as regular classroom curriculum and techniques is the key to success, for us. I am so happy with the progress my daughter has made since she started attending.

She kicked me out of enrolment after three years of dedicated learning just because my Mom questioned her about the extra charge we were asked to pay. Ms Janet was impolite and rude and refused to show my contract mentioning the extra payment and told my mother that she does not want me anymore as a student. My Mom accepted to pay the extra 25 but she refused to accept me. Such impoliteness and lack of consideration for a child like me is not worthy of a teacher. I am one of the good students. It's an insult to the education system.

Janet Lee was condescending. A very rude person. This was a really bad experience for my son and I both.
