There is no other cafe or restaurant in the city that caters to people with celiacs like Odell's. Even if you don't eat gluten free, their fish and chips, burgers, sandwiches and meals are among the best in the city, hands down. If you find yourself in the Farnham Gate area, stop by. At least get a muffin or a slice of delicious cream pie.

Since my husband was diagnosed as celiac, we have discovered the joys of this place. We liked it when it was in our own neighborhood in the north end, but it was small and cramped and they didn’t have a large menu. Mostly baked goods. Now with this location, wow! A better menu than many full restaurants, a much larger, beautiful space, and a modern café connected to the restaurant and bakery. Just fantastic. We loved our first meal here and my husband said he would be happy to make the trip to this area of the city to eat here any time. I had the broccoli salad which was a step up from the usual broccoli salad, and my husband was able to order fish and chips for the first time since being diagnosed. The fish and batter was delicious and the fries were good too. We will definitely be back.

Our first visit to Odell’s will probably be our last. This place is very busy and the staff seemed frazzled. Maybe it was just a busy Saturday but we felt rushed and customer service was “meh”. The treats were ok and only the ginger cookies were memorable.

I love treating myself to some goodies here. Always safe since the entire place is gluten free. Staff is friendly and honest when you ask about a product. Highly recommend.

Nice idea and realization. Espresso is nowhere near europe though - overburnt and not a hint of acidity.
