Local business, showcasing local produce with owners in their aprons serving us patrons. Had sharing platter of exquisite British charcuterie and a plate of three cheeses. Gluten free bread and crackers for me and selection of sourdough and crackers for her. Also do click and collect or will deliver within six miles of Halifax. Definitely a deli cafe to support and promote.

Lovely cheese and wine venue outside the beautiful piece hall. Been countless times, their local produce is amazing. Took my friend whi has coeliac disease for her birthday and messaged ahead to let them know. They couldn't do enough to ensure they had gluten free bread in for her.

Had a fantastic lunch from here the other day. Enjoyed looking at all the hamper products as well and will be popping back in before Christmas for sure.

I love this place and have returned a number of times. The staff are always very welcoming and attentive and the food is always top notch. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and just the right number of seats so it doesn't get too overcrowded and noisy. I think the menu has enough variety to suit most tastes, from their locally sourced cheeses and charcuterie, to the tapas style selection of bread, olives, hummus, oil/balsamic to their toasties, sandwiches, soup, salads and sweet selection. They have an extensive selection of wine and beer as well as soft and hot drinks. My partner and daughter are both gluten intolerant but this has not been an issue, just ensure you speak to the staff when ordering so they can accommodate you. Highly recommend a visit, especially if you are shopping within the Piece Hall as it's right next door.
