Nick has done my nails 4 times now, and he has always done a fantastic job! Never had my nails chip and they always look great. Great customer service from Nick and the staff here, they are attentive to customers, and reliable. Would recommend!

I will start by saying I’ve been to many nail salons in Halifax/ Dartmouth, today was my first visit to rainbow nails and this is my experience. I am a trained nail tech and like I see what other salons offer. My experience here was great, everyone was friendly and my nails turned out pretty good. First thing I noticed was they display their cosmetology licenses on the wall A for trained staff. The male doing my nails was very friendly and made sure I was happy with the shape of each nail, he asked multiple times if the length was good and if the shape was up to my standards. The shellac polish job was one of the best I’ve received from another salon. The only downfalls were that my cuticles were not pushed back or really touched and the marble nail I asked for on one hand looked a bit more like grey waves definitely could use a bit of practice with the marble design but overall this is a great salon and I definitely will be returning when I just don’t feel like doing them myself . I wish I got the employees name he was fantastic
Unfortunately I did not look at reviews of this place before I went, and that was my mistake. I had a shellac manicure done and two days later it began to lift off my nails at the cuticle. The manicure itself was not bad, but I could have done it myself and had it last longer (and not wasted 50). I messaged them and told them the polish was all lifting at the cuticle and was told to come and it would be fixed free of charge. I made an appointment and made the trip over to then be told they would only fix it if it was a couple chips, and that they “didn’t know why the polish was peeling at the cuticle”. I’m not a nail tech and don’t need to be to know that it’s because the nails were not prepped properly. I was offered 10 off to have them painted another time. Won’t be going back.

I only ask for one nail tech. She's done my nails 3 times no issues she's the best! Went in again today. Good job Ana she did my nails my sister's and my daughter's nails.
