Most of the dinners we had, from our party of 4 were good. However, I ordered the Sheppard's pie, it was 9/10ths potato and the rest lamb and approximately 6 small cubes of carrots. They comped my meal but for 17.00 for mashed potatoes is pretty extreme. We were told that that is the usual presentation of this dish.

I missed going out because of covid-19, but the place was packed and that was very cool!

Great food and excellent beer, Guinness poured correctly. This actually feels like a real Irish Pub. It can get busy, so it might be wise to call for reservations during busy times. One nice thing is the seating is spread out so you can usually find a quiet corner. It can get noise on the main floor if a band is playing, but it is easy to move upstairs if you want a quieter spot. Steak & Kidney is excellent, and the curry is really good.

Absolutely amazing, I'm from Yarmouth but had to visit the city for surgery. I tried the fish and chips, it was so goood! Best fish I have ever eaten in my life. Hunny had the liver and onions and he said the same about that, best he has ever eaten! Definitely a must try, can't wait to get back down to eat there again :)

It was cool, was there w a few buddies for lunch. All the food was pretty good, coffee came in a French press which is kinda neat. Looks like they had a little stage set up for live entertainment, guess later on in the evening.

The server was attentive and nice. I ordered the appetizer mussels with a side of fries to make my own moules frites. The mussels were very good - small, tender, sweet and just garlicky enough. The fries were great - a large portion, crispy outside, tender inside, and may have had Old Bay or some other seasoning on them - very good.
