Ok so the thing you need to know about the Toothy Moose... Is that it's a near perfect bar. Seriously. The lads and I stopped in for a bachelor party during a pub crawl, and the Toothy ended up being our final destination. It manages to be huge and also cozy at the same time with several different areas so you can make a fool of yourself in one, and then mosey on over to another—no dramas. It was exceptionally busy that evening, but the service was terrific. Usually bartenders on a busy Friday night interact with patrons with mild enthusiasm to straight out annoyance, but these bartenders were all class through and through. The music was also excellent. We cut shapes on the dancefloor for a solid 2 hours of back to back to back bangers. Truly fire as the kids say. My recco is go to the Toothy if you're in Halifax and enjoy one helluva 'evening.

This review is negative 100 stars. They allowed a woman feel unsafe with their uncaring staff ( bouncers ) she was explaining to them she didn't feel safe and they wouldn't let her back in to find her friends. Totally unacceptable. And from what I'm seeing they still haven't released a statement.... Maybe someone can enlighten me to see if they have. But I can't see it... What a garbage company to allow this to happen!!
This place is called Toothy Moose, but it's a 50/50 whether people actually have teeth there. Good location and satisfactory music. Sometimes the bouncers look like they ate a sandwich that had too much onion in it, so now they're mad.
Walked in on a whim one night, thought it'd be fun, when I was there, ALL they played was music with Extensive profanity for 20 mins. Couldn't take any more. Just a repulsive turnoff. Did not buy drinks.

It's a nightclub, and about everything you'd expect from one. Had a good time.
Always had fun at this place until tonight when I encountered a racist bouncer who wouldn’t let me in after I waited 30 mins in line, kept pushing me, I reported to the manager and did nothing. Never going back.
Not my cup of tea. You better be wearing plaid or a cowboy hat.
