Such a happy place to get your hair done! I started going to Ellen when she worked elsewhere and followed her to Tidal because she is so great. I love the clean, bright vibes in the salon and I always feel welcome and comfortable. I really appreciate the care they have been taking with covid protocols - I always feel safe when I go for my appointments. Only good things to say about the place and stylists!

Assuring Dedication! I was astounded at the dedication Cara showed toward my daughter’s wedding. She had traveled over 200 km that morning, and created 7 gorgeous hairdos that everyone was extraordinarily pleased with. Extremely talented! Her pleasant and calm demeanour was great to be around on such an ominous day with hurricane Dorian ramping up.

Beautiful salon, everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I went to Mikel who specializes in curly hair. One the best colour and cuts I've ever had! Also they are not overpriced and they don't try to push you to buy their products. Will definitely be going back
Really liked having Brittany as a stylist but almost impossible to get appointments. Tried eve and weekends but you have to call at least 2 months in advance (that's crazy). Then tried an appointment for a week that I'm on vacation (any time day or evening) but was told she is booked and that is that. Shouldn't have to call 2 or 3 months in advance to get appointment - terrible customer service.
Mikel Smith was great. Very professional and careful. Asked precise questions and listened to my ideas. Extremely pleased with the results.
I could not have been more impressed with my first experience at Tidal Hair Lounge; specifically with my stylist, Mikel Smith. Mikel worked wonders with my curly hair, gave me an amazing cut and taught me how to get the most out of my curls. I've got dozens of comments from friends and strangers since my cut a week ago, everyone is shocked how much curlier my hair is!! Having the RIGHT person that takes the time to teach you about your hair is priceless. The salon is beautiful with full length mirrors in front of the chair (loved that!) and lots of big windows. There's lots of nearby (free) parking; I found a space right in front of the building. I'm a Tidal convert now, I'll never be able to trust anyone with my hair the way I know I can trust Mikel!
Fantastic! I first went in after receiving a really horrible haircut elsewhere, and the lady who greeted me found me an emergency appointment and sat me down with my stylist to talk Damage Control. 5 days later Zipora worked her magic to help minimize the damage and blended up a storm to give me beautiful hair again! She also took the time to show me some curling techniques, as well as talk about some easy hacks for maintaining my hair until the worst of the layers grow out. To be sure I'll be heading back to Tidal again for another fabulous cut and some springtime colour soon. Thank you ladies! On a less personal note, the facilities are fresh and clean, the products they use are very luxurious and the pricing is incredibly afforable for the money-concious.
