I first contacted Hallgrove to book my sons van in for a full service and they did a great job. Now I will be taken my own van to be serviced. as I believe, return to those who do good jobs. PJ Pat Gallagher

Very friendly, experienced and knowledgeable staff. Work carried out in a timely manner. They even collected my car from my workplace. Work carried out was very reasonably priced. Overall very happy with their service.
RUDE. INEPT. LIARS I took my car in after a break down and paid 850 for a new dpf, turbo hose and a couple of small bits. The car still showed engine malfunction lights. Steve (general manager) advised that I should keep more than half a tank of fuel to rectify the problem???!! This didn't work... After taking the car back to Steve at hallgrove garage 3 times he said there was nothing more he could do. I spoke and took my car to a series of other garages including one recommended by Steve at hallgrove. The uninamous response was that an inferior, cheaper part was fitted without the need to, at my great expense. I went back to hallgrove to speak to Steve about what I'd been told and he swore at me then hid shouting round the corner that he didn't want to speak to me and call in the morning. I was surprised by this cowardice but decided to call in the morning. When I called I spoke with Mark from 'customer care' he said Steve wasnt there to take the call but by his office phone. I asked for Steve's office phone number but Mark (7 years service) didn't know it. I left a message with Mark for Steve to return my call. Steve showed cowardice once again and didn't return my call. I phoned back later that day and spoke with steve who swore at me again, was dismissive of the issues and implied it was my fault my car wasn't fixed properly. He hung up on me and tried to pretend me didn't. I've since got the car fixed by a proper garage to little cost and time. I may well contact trading standards about the misdiagnosis, excessive charges for work I didn't need doing and abuse I received when challenging them on this. I hope this (long I know) review is read to avoid anyone else falling foul the these conmen.
