My mother spent 2 weeks here in respite care. Staff are lovely. I would recommend this place.

Absolutely appalling management. Owners of the Cedars are just in it for the money no care for the residents! Staff not paid properly. Neither staff or residents treated with respect. Not enough carers to look after residents. Residents fed Tesco value frozen foods. Money paid by residents goes straight into owners pockets. Be aware! This is not a CARE home! Would never put anyone here! It's a hell hole.

I chose The Cedars out of 6 other nursing homes, I am so happy I researched the options. My sister is always clean, staff are engaging, kind and really go the extra mile. Meals are very good and if my sister doesn't like whats offered she's offered another choice. Staff are exceptional. The Cedars is always clean and fresh and my sister looks better than she has in years. We are so grateful, they make a difference.

As a family, we made the decision to transfer our mum from her existing care home to The Cedars Care Home. She has now been there for three weeks and is very settled in a lovely bright room. From previously being made to use a wheelchair for mobility, with the care of the staff she is now mobile with a walking frame which is lovely to see. To date, we are delighted with the care provided. The home is very calm in lovely surroundings with quite obviously very caring staff. Lovely dining room and the food is a delight to see with the residents being given a choice of food each day. What is nice to see is a sample of the food being presented to each resident which is so helpful for those having Alzheimer's who easily forget what they may have ordered.

Every time I go to visit our elderly friend at The Cedars, it’s always felt very homely. Staff are always very friendly, always saying hello and how am I doing? That’s a great feeling though. Never forget to ask me, if I wanted to have any drinks.
