I have a tired, warped and splitting early Georgian dining table that has most definitely carried the scars of constant use over the past 250 years. Darren, has been able to bring this beautiful old piece of furniture back to its wonderful glory whilst maintaining its characters of age. A brief i gave him that i thought was nigh on impossible to achieve. Very very chuffed. And at a cost that makes it affordable to nearly everyone's budget to give that loving heirloom a new lease of life. I cannot recommend Elephants Trunks enough.

Darren is very knowledgeable about his subject of furniture restoration. He has a wide understanding of furniture periods, from the antique to more contemporary, including how that furniture was originally made, and consequently how best to restore it. This is vital if you want an item to be restored, bringing it back to its original beauty, or just conservation, with a light touch. His workmanship is excellent, as is his enthusiasm for his subject. And prices for his work are reasonable, considering the the painstaking approach he takes to all his commissions and the quality of his work.
