Went to get box braids for an upcoming vacation. After taking out the box braids I hair loss causing my hair to thin as well as breakage from the lighter being used on the braids. Lesson learned.

Oumi and FiFi have never disappointed me!! I always get what I ask for, or better. Furthermore, the money goes a long way with the styles that I have chosen; I've easily gotten 6-8 weeks wear each time.
Poor customer service with Oumi herself! If the owner is nasty and has an attitude naturally her workers will have the same. Most of these ladies do not hold professional cosmetic license and most likely not skilled in anything else. So as a warning to ladies who are expecting quality work, ain't gonna happen unless you're willing to pay outrageous amounts of money for a style that is painful because our hair is soft and they don't want you coming back for slippages. I refuse to pay that amount of money to be tortured and mistreated. I make my own rates according to attitude and treatment. My observation of the African American clients is the most customers are lower income, working class women with some having esteem issues and obsessive issues with needing to come back even though their hair is still looking fresh. Oumi had turned that client away while I was there and I think she did that to impress me! Another woman came in and wanted a certain hair style and didn't have all the money. Oumi standard rates seems to be 180, 160. The lady was a regular and wanted some length to her hair and that price jumped up to 180. The woman made desperate attempts to call someone for an extra 20. Really Oumi! It's the black Americans who are putting food on your table, paying your lease and paid for that fine Mercedes you're riding around in! Remember that! Stopping taking advantage of poor black Americans, people who focus more on their looks than anything else! You aught to be ashamed of yourself!! Also ladies, shave your edges and kitchen because these people will try to braid every little peach fuzz and cause scalp damage resulting in alopecia which means o edges\. Stop sitting there paying this when you don't even own a car, or don't have money for food, rent and bus fare. You set the rates and stop messing things up for me! Stop being stupid!!
