I was on my way to Big Box Store to slog up and down a mile of concrete aisles, but in a moment of clarity, veered and came here. Instead of rummaging through already-rummaged parts bins, alone, I talked to a guy who showed me what I wanted, a couple options, and we opened up packages and tried them out on the counter. Last time I was there it was because I needed a Christmas tree stand. I was in and out in like a minute and a half, satisfied and charmed. An oldster once told me that running a hardware shop is tricky because you want to stock everything people want, but nothing they don't. The guys here, and their shop, are cut from that cloth. Experience for the win.

Packed with stuff that is non-existent in the big box stores. Like a glass bulb for a stove top coffee pot. Most are plastic now. Too many things to mention. Good place.

Took my lawn mower in to have it serviced. The lawn mower needed a new blade and I asked for an oil change. Picked up my lawn mower and paid 70.00 dollars for their service. I used my lawn mower 3 times after picking it up. On the third time, the blade fell off of the lawn motor. When I put the blade back on, the mower didn’t work. I’m not quite sure why the blade fell off, and why the mower isn’t working, but I will be taking it else where. I will NEVER trust Spring Glen to do any maintenance work for me again.
