All the kids these days are dancing and styling themselves after Al Jolson (Google: Al Jolson if you are unsure.) I didn't want to be left out of life's popularity contest, so I walked into Fred Astaire Franchise Dance Studio and requested lessons for learning Al Jolson's moves. To my surprise, such a class is offered, and is quite popular. And it goes like this Take me by the tongue and I'll know you Kiss me 'til you're drunk and I'll show you You want the moves like Jolson I've got the moves like Jolson I've got the moves, like Jolson

It started with an idea of what we wanted our first dance to look like. We wanted it to be a moment that we could share together, that captured us and our relationship in that moment for all those attending. We courageously walked into the studio really unsure and nervous as we have never done anything like this before. We were greeted by Anna who ASSURED us that \we got this\ and everything is going to be super amazing and beautiful. What I loved about it is they really ensure we had our basics down first. When we were on the home stretch of our training for the big day, it was a pleasure to work with different instructors to fine tune details for the dance. The day came, and Anna was right it was amazing and the hard work we all engaged in over the months sincerely paid off into one of the most memorable things not only for us, but for all those attending!! Even though our wedding has come and gone, we still continue our dancing with the studio. All the instructors are positive, hard working, down to earth, funny, engaging, and really ensure you get the most our of your dancing. They consider your goals and work with those goals to create a program for you. The parties and group sessions allowed us to work with different people. It also allowed us to connect and enter a new community who is also very encouraging and positive. We sincerely enjoy your time at the Hamilton Studio and can't think Anna, Michelle, Matt, Rhianna, and Rebecca enough!!! #TeamAstaireHamilton Christina & Steven Pecile
This was a wonderful experience all round. My instructor Anna was very professional, yet warm and encouraging. Learned so much in such a short period of time, and there is still so much left to enjoy. Everyone there was very kind and understanding. It was very much appreciated
I can not say enough good things about this place. The introductory classes are 5 for 25. That's 2 private lessons, 2 \parties\ and 1 group. The parties are the best part, newbies and experienced dancers all together and the experienced dancers are happy to go at a newbies speed. Regular classes are great as well, they're pricey but worth it in my opinion. The teachers don't rush and take the time to make sure you know the steps and teach you the terminology of dance. Again, I have nothing but good things to say about Fred Astaire in Hamilton!!
I have loved every moment of learning how to dance through Anna’s instruction. She has provided me with all the knowledge and tools to make me feel confident in dancing. It has been life changing. The studio itself is always a positive atmosphere & I appreciate the attention to detail in each lesson. Thank you !
