Just got a tattoo by Alex. This place was referred to me by a friend and I couldn't be happier. Wasn't sure what I wanted, just one or two loose ideas and they responded quickly. Alex also made this a lot more meaningful for me by asking me to pick a Canadian landscape that held some meaning for me. This lead to me getting a tattoo that not only makes me think of a place dear to my heart, but also of my sisters, one recently deceased. Thanks Alex and John Street Tattoo for being stellar, accommodating, and having a gentle hand with that tattoo gun. ️️
Everyone at John street tattoo is amazing! The shop is clean and professional. They make you feel comfortable and at home. Crack a few jokes, listen to some good tunes while you're getting zapped by the best in hamilton! There is no where I'd rather go. Thanks for the amazing work

John st tattoo is a fantastic tattoo shop with very friendly artists today I finished off my piece I started a year ago and the quality of work is outstanding. To top it off unlike some shops where you have to pay cash John st allows you to pay with debit/credit too so you don't have to worry about carrying a large amount of money on you. I would recommend this shop for people looking to get a good quality tattoo!
I was looking to get some old tattoos touched up and reached out to Jacklyn at John Street Tattoo, the email conversation was prompt, courteous and professional. When I arrived at the shop I was greeted by my artist Sonny who was has a wonderful enthusiastic personality which is so important when you're getting something like this. The touch up was quick and easy, so much so that I decided to look through his work and get a custom drawn piece from him. He's a great guy. The shop itself is clean and there's great banter between the artists. Overall the vibe is great, the people are great. Can't recommend this place enough!
Wonderful place! Got my first tattoo here with my friend and they were so professional and clean. Made me feel comfortable. And on top of everything, did a wonderful job on my tattoo. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back myself.
Sonny gave new life to my old wrist tattoos and was awesome to talk to. His line work is also amazing, and judging by the art on the wall, he is an extremely talented artist. Thanks so much!!! :)
