I had an aunt who stayed at Tara Retirement Home. I must say my family and I were so happy with the way things were ran there. Moving to a large home would have been very overwhelming for my aunt, so we were pleased to find a small close knit community like Tara. The meals were made in house by the Tara staff and my aunt always said they were delicious. The residence was extremely clean and tidy. Additionally, they made things easy for my family and I as medication was managed by the staff which relieved my stresses concerning if she had taken her medication. Both the staff and other resident's at Tara are loving and welcoming. Again, with it being a smaller retirement residence it really has a caring and supportive atmosphere. There are many social events for the resident's to partake in including game nights, and other social events to keep everyone busy. I would definitely recommend Tara Retirement Home.

PLEASE READ THIS HONEST REVIEW BEFORE TOURING TARA RETIREMENT HOME I cannot express how impressed I am with the advocacy and love of the employees at Tara. If you truly care about your loved one, consider this Retirement Home. Their communication with me while my Grandmother lived there was exceptional. They accommodated my Grandmother’s needs to the best of their ability and they advocated for more care when her health began to decline. The staff were extremely nurturing and kind. They were patient with our families needs and all of our concerns. Unfortunately, my grandmother needed around the clock care due to her health decline and was reassigned to a nursing home. We will miss: Nadera and Chandie – Owners and Operators who were often seen tending to maintenance, chatting with residents and offering homemade baked bread, Nicky – Her helpful check-ins and the time she took to build rapport, Heather – Her “amazing food” (My Grandmother’s words) and her care, Lovarlee (“Love” as my Grandmother called her) – Her knowledge of Hymns and scriptures to calm my Grandmother when she was anxious, Dr. Ben – He acknowledged my Grandmother’s concerns first and empowered her to explain what she was feeling, The PSWs – They gave amazing care and treated my Grandmother as if she were their own. I will forever be grateful to Tara for accepting our family and making us a part of theirs. Thank you again, LH
Family member has been a resident since 2017. Nicky, Heather, Lovarlee are great. They all take good care of all residents. Really happy.
