James Eadie (1827-1904) was a Scottish brewer who established a significant brewery in 1854. Born near Gleneagles, Mr. Eadie was a quiet, self-made man, whose hard work and indomitable perseverance earned him and his family a good living. The Eadie family also bottled a Blended Scotch whisky to an old family recipe, only a few bottles of which are known to remain. 110 years after his death, one of James' great-great grandchildren has revived the James Eadie brand. Rupert Patrick, a 25 year whisky industry veteran, has selected from the finest malts to bottle under his ancestor's great name.
