This was my first time using this Veterinary Clinic. I had not had a great experience with the previous vet I was using and wanted to try some place new. I had heard of Hammond Veterinary Services through a mutual friend who highly highly recommended them. I was able to schedule both of my fur babies for the same time to be seen which made this all the more convenient for me. They were not there for anything major but I assumed I would be dropping them off. I was pleasantly surprised when I was allowed to stay with them and allowed into the room. This made them all the more comfortable. I seen them receive their shots and care. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable and at home. My appointments were quick and easy. It was also more reasonably priced than I believed they would be. This was a breath of fresh air all the way around compared to the previous veterinary service I was using. I will definitely be back. I will highly recommend this place. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I believe our vets name is Tony, and any time we've ever had an issue with our pets, his extensive knowledge and caring heart does all he can, and makes sure you're educated as well. We took chance on an emergency visit today after ingesting God knows what and looking like he might not make it through the evening. He spent SO much time on him trying to piece a puzzle together that really couldn't be made whole. Thankfully, it looks like he is going to make it this evening now that all the multiple drugs he gave him based on prior experiences are wearing off. I love these guys and so glad I found this vet Office!

If you want the short version of my review, I’m really impressed with them and will never go to a different vet clinic. If you want to read the review I typed up on my phone, but then realized it was really too long but tells you more about why I am impressed- continue on past here. I have had my dogs for 9 years and I have taken them to 6 different vet clinics before coming to Hammond veterinary services. The staff is super helpful and accommodating. They helped me get in quickly when my dog had an emergency and took the time to answer any questions I had on the pricing of services. Dr. Jody takes the time to listen to you about what’s going on with your pet and thoroughly answers your questions. He efficiently and concisely explains possible causes and solutions for issues in a way that allows you to make an informed decision on the care of your pet and actually gives you the option of how you want to proceed. I’m used to vets just telling you what they think the issues is and shove medicine at you and push you out the door. I hear good things about Dr. Randall as well, but I have only seen Dr. Jody. There are so many places/business that have people who are just there to collect a paycheck and not actually do a job, and I do not feel that here. I would willingly pay double what they charged me, but am really glad I didn’t have to. I am sure there are still other clinics that do as thorough a job as they do here, and that this isn’t the only good vet to bring your pet to, but you would be hard pressed to find one that is actually better than them.
