Fantastic service for both Probate applications earlier this year and late 2019... I would imagine they are now inundated with work load and fighting the challenges of Covid too. I can't thank them enough for the speed and compassion they have.

Currently waiting for the seller of a property to have her Grant of Probate application processed. It was submitted 11 weeks ago and the office aren't providing any updates on applications. Wouldn't mind the delay, but there is no communication with the office at all. Phone lines are closed and they don't respond to emails.

An absolute joke, probate case submitted 12 weeks ago, still not been issued, when they say the maximum timeframe is up to 8 weeks. They are unable to provide any update to solicitor as to timescales either. It’s just a case of “how long is a piece of string” for when they will process it

Appalling level of service from this office. Waited 12 weeks for probate certificate to find they'd spelled my surname correctly but not my mother. They're the same for § sake! So back it went. Then came back with wrong date of death! So back its gone again! Pitty they don't have to pay compensation!! In fact, they answer to no one apparently.

No one answers the phone. I feel very worried that government departments give such an appalling level of service. If they are short of staff, which is their excuse, then hire some more! The MP for Winchester needs to get involved here.
