I waited for a call back since 9am today for impacted wisdom tooth/ MS/TMJ. I called back at 4:45pm (don’t want an angry surgeon for calling back to early)..., a diff receptionist whom is unapologetic and rude asks me “When was I here last? “ i tell her, “I have no idea, my chart is in front of you? IM IN MASSIVE PAIN talking is difficult! I have been there for three impacted wisdom teeth paid and paid 500 cash for each tooth, @ three different visits because he doesn’t except any medicare. I can only afford one tooth at a time.” And when they wouldn’t take payments, I FIGURED IT OUT AND PAID on the spot by borrowing money from my driver. I Was willing to pay out of pocket today because Nelson is very good. The last molar (not even impacted nor wisdom tooth) extracted by Family Dental in Riverhead took a piece of my jaw and i haven’t been the same since. You lack in communicating as a team, left me in agony and despondent. I Had a ride for today but I can’t just get people to drop what they are doing to drive me after 4pm. It is evident the second receptionist knew who I was by the tone in her voice, and the fact she probably was the one to drop my ball today. Never again.

Jack Nelson has been there for me and my family. Whenever I needed him no matter what he would get us in. For me and my family he is a pain free oral surgeon. Yes afterwards there’s some pain but he and his staff make there patients comfortable and takes the fear away. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend Dr Nelson, he will take good care of you and explain what he is going to do.
