I am giving two stars only because my experience has been very mixed but unfortunately rather negative in the most recent months. I have been a patient at this surgery for more than 12 years. Generally the doctors and nurses have been mostly helpful and kind. However, like many other patients here, I have experienced rudeness, lack of empathy and little understanding from the manager and some of the reception staff. In my case, I was told on the phone that I should not try to book an appointment with a doctor because their time is too valuable. When I tried to explain that I have recently been diagnosed with a serious heart and lung condition and that it's vital my GP knows about it and I get some advice from the GP now, especially that we have Covid virus around. The lady said that according to what she can see in my notes, I don't have any serious issues and she insinuated I was lying. Initially, she refused to book an appointment only to eventually do it after I refused to agree with her. She kept saying she does not think I have any need to speak to the doctor at all. It's good I have not let her intimidate me. Because the next day the GP called and said he was glad I spoke to him and that it was very important I updated him on the drastic change in my health as that made me require some additional injections like flu and pneumonia, which I would not get if he had not known about my illness.

V difficult to make appointments at this surgery. Have had to wait 50 mins after my appointment time to be seen. Now has a terrible online system which I have found unusable but no help with that from the surgery. Time to find a new practice
Have always been met with helpful staff; same day appointments without fail (a little patience required getting through, but true of any NHS surgery)... doctors and nurses have all provided excellent care on many occasions over the past decade.
Receptionist VERY RUDE ... Contradicted everything I said .... I will be writing an official complaint .
Only takes a quick browse through the many 1 star reviews to see that this place needs either shutting down or new staff. Reception should try showing a modicum of care and respect for their patients. You’re paid enough to at least pretend.
