More lockdown means more pressure. Decided to buy some Annie Sloan chalk paint and brighten up some furniture at home. Because you can't go in during lockdown, the owner has thoughtfully painted all the colours available on wood and put them in the window so you can see what it comes out like. The lady gave me some good tips on the phone and made some good colour recommendations because I wanted to do my own colour mixing with different tins. I ordered and paid on the phone and then used the click and collect service. My paint was put outside. They also have some very good knobs at reasonable prices - I got beautiful glass ones. This is a really lovely shop with a warm and friendly lady at the helm. Thank God it was open!! Will definitely be back.

Needed a particular shade of Annie Sloan paint and wax to complete a job, not available at my local stockists. Sheldon's had everything I needed in stock, click and collect via the website was flawless, communication was great and the items were waiting for me to collect. Simple and smooth process. Also measures had been put in place to combat covid-19 which is reassuring.

This was such a FUN day! I didn't know what to expect from the workshop but I came away having learnt heaps and feeling that I achieved so much! Jane is lovely and funny and great company, a great teacher; made me feel confident in tackling my first project and trying a new technique. Now I just want to give up work and paint forever!

Jane is an excellent tutor in how to get the most out of paint techniques, colour choices and the use of wax to artificially age a piece of furniture and create interesting picture frames etc. Experimenting and playing with paint and wax to build your confidence and repertoire was all accomplished while having fun. Highly recommended
