To date, we have already hosted 20 Food Talk Forums and Food Talk Festivals, Urban Food Feasts, workshops, salons, and many other social innovation activities. We have featured 124 speakers from China and abroad, and more than a million people have interacted with us both online and offline. In November 2017, Food Talk launched “Chinese Food Education Advocates,” a platform promoting the sustainable development of food education. This pioneering campaign rethinks and redefines food education in China as an opportunity for the next generation to develop healthy and enjoyable food habits. We take seriously our role in advocating and practicing food education - through the Food Talk Forum for the public, a toolkit for families, a food education curriculum for schools, various experiential spaces, and multimedia. Our mission is to improve personal competencies and strengthen Chinese cultural identity. Food Talk intends to cooperate with domestic and overseas organizations and individuals to nurture a robust food education system in China.
