The Development of Shuyou Surgical Since established in 1993, Zhejiang Shuyou Surgical Instrument Co., Ltd. has been specialized in the production of surgical instruments with 2 American Invention Patents, 2 National Invention Patents and 8 Utility Model Patents. Among these patents, Peng’s Multi-functional Operational Dissector (PMOD) has achieved the Second Prize of the National Invention Award, which is a significant part of the National Ministry of health promotion projects in China. After these years, Shuyou Surgical has gained both national as well as international fame and recognition. In 2003, Shuyou Surgical achieved ISO9001 and ISO13485 certifications. Then, Shuyou Surgical won the U.S. FDA and the European Union CE certification, in 2005.
