After years of struggling with mental issues with some family members and countless psychiatrists we moved to Colorado to find Dr. Chisty. My family members immediately loved Dr. Chisty's knowledge and ability to tap into what their needs were. Due to some straining family events my sister got worse, I sent a desperate e-mail to Dr. Chisty during his day off, not only he responded promptly but gave good advice on how to handle the crisis. When my sister visited him on his next working day, he processed with the insurance the best medication for her, the insurance refused to cover for it, his office promptly processed an alternative medication and called us to let us know that it would be available. My sister was critical before the new treatment started, a couple of days after it started I have my sister back! Dr. Chisty is a FANTASTIC Dr. Intelligent, knowledgeable and available. I already recommended him to my coworkers and friends, they are all extremely thankful and happy with Dr. Chisty. His office goes to great lengths to try to accommodate the medications that you need and the restrictions you might have with insurance coverage, this is my coworkers experience and my own. Dr. Chisty is a GREAT Dr. I have no words to express my gratitude! He just gave me my sister back! Mental illness can cause great struggles for the patient and their families but with the correct diagnosis and medication all these can disappear and this was our case!

After paying the full session price of 200 each visit, the Doctor insisted that my insurance provider would cover a portion of the visit. It has been 3 months since then, I am still out 600, and there has been no effort from Happy Minds to remedy the situation. I have switched doctors and will never return here.

The doctor refused me medication until I paid for another appointment, was irresponsible, hides behind the secretary and clearly is only invested in money. Sincerely, I do not trust this man with peoples mental health.
