Arctic Bath is one of the most unique hotels in Sweden. The design of the hotel and the villas is amazing, and the location on the river is great too. Food is very nice with interesting flavors. The food menu is well paired with suitable wines. The staff is talkative and friendly, but not too much. So you can have a great time with your own company, but also get a nice chat with the staff if you like that. I would say that the whole package is what makes this place so nice. The cold bath is a unique experience like this, and the spa area is very nice as well. I can definitely see myself going back here another time. And I believe that when covid is not around, it will be even nicer to stay here. But I must say that they followed the guidelines and made everyone feel safe at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The rooms are nicely decorated and feature everything you could possibly need for a nice vacation.

We stayed one night at Arctic Bath in a beautiful land suite and found the whole experience fabulous! From the unique design of the main building, the cosiness and intimacy of each of the 12 rooms, the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff, to the incredible views on the frozen lake. We got lucky with the weather as we had a clear blue sky which made the surrounding environment all the more spectacular. We spotted a moose crossing the icy lake as we arrived. We also took part of the 4pm spa ritual which was great and made us make the most of the hotel spa facilities. And we indulged in their 5-course dinner with dishes made from local ingredients and really nicely presented. A fantastic place that made our stay very special and that we look forward to return to

Awesome 5-star hotel in the northern parts of Sweden. they took well care of us & in combination with the "Arctic Bath experience" and lovely cabin - we will be back next winter!
Our stay in February 2020 was a magical experience. The management was amazing kind. Really special.

Horrible service from manager that knows how to ruin a special trip. No cleaning, no hot water, crammed in a 5 person taxi with other guests who had just flown in during COVID times. Didn’t take the customer seriously. Missed my massage due the late activities and bad booking on her part. Otherwise lovely staff!
The location, the spa and the rooms are stunning and I would say perfect. Check in was also professional. BUT: I am not sure if the hotel would survive without that, because: Restaurant staff was the most incompetent I have ever seen in my life. Lunch was ok Dinner: The same waiter introduced himself again (did not remember us from lunch, strange, since there arent that many guests, 199 for 5 course meal, very brave pricing for what it is. atmosfere between kitchen and waiters is terrible. Waiter accidentally breaks a glass into the kitchen, and chef has to throw away the food he has just prepared. Icy stares from the kitchen into the dining room. Should we as gueste paying 800 have to see that? Breakfast: We witness breakfast order of three table (including ours) being forgotten. Table next to us was asked if they want more blueberry juice. They say no. The waitress asks in a very strange tone “are you really sure”? The guest says “yes” and as the waiter leaves comments to his wife “if i say no, i mean no”. We look at each other and just shake our head. In our case, when we told the waitress that our waffles and avo toast had gotten forgotten, she hadnt even realized, so she ordered new ones. As we had finally gotten the order (we were lucky, some people had to leave before being able to eat their orders) i realized that the waffle order had been sitting in the kitchen all along but the waitress hadnt noticed, so she ordered another one. Into the garbage it goes! As mentioned, the communication between waiters and kitchen seems minimal and really bad. As kitchen is open, the restaurant is small, you hear everything. Sauna experience: Amazing person who guided us through, other than the architecture and rooms, absolute highlight. Ameninites: very cool and unique that we get bathing suit and shorts 3 stars are disregarding the price. Taking that into consideration, I would give 2 stars.
