Beautiful old remains of the erstwhile kingdom of the king of Mayurbhanj. Calm and serene atmosphere and a must visit for the people looking for a throwback on the past culture of Odisha and its people. Currently being maintained by the ASI, this place needs more attention for its proper care.

Visited it for the 3rd time and yeah Loved this place at the golden spot. The ASI (Archeology Survey of India) should try to develop the place for more attraction and enhance the Odisha tourism. Its one of the hidden beauty which people should visit once to feel the history of the great Bhanja dynasty and the serene architecture.

A place that has the capability to be an UNESCO world heritage site. It is neglected for years by ASI. A place with a story; story about Lord Jagannath, story about love, story about ancient Hindu values, story about the tyranny of Mughals. Just 18Kms away from Baripada Town.
