Beautiful place, natural ambience, live music, great food but of course all this has a cost - it is expensive. I have been here twice, but not more so for food. Food is competitive. That is, you can get the same quality in prices lower than this. But it's more about the place overall. Truly exotic! The paths leading to Highland are even scenic. I'll recommend it. If you are a foodie, having a penchant for adventure, this is the place for you.

Well presented rooms, reasonably priced. Good service. There was a lack of amenities as the resort is still under construction. No Gym, No Swimming Pool, No Spa. I was on a business trip and inly there for 1 night so it made no difference. The view of Islamabad and the clean crisp air is amazing. I am sure once this place is fully completed it will be one of the best in Islamabad.
It will be better to eat at monal and have tea here. One of the worst food experience I had. This place is only good for tea with its flavoured naans and sheesha. The cream of chicken soup was like cardboard boiled to a mush. The thai soup was just boiled chicken with sprinkle of red chillis(thai soup is supposed to be clear) Bbq was so over cooled that it was dry. Even more pathetic was the quality of waiting. They placed the cutlery directly on the table, that too in these covid days. No cleanliness and to top it off therr were flies everywhere. Again, save your money and go to any other place in islamabad with a half decent view.
Just enjoy the serenity, nature, live music, and good food only 10km away from Monal. It is quite a peaceful place and a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Exotic location, the midst of green hilly mountains of district Haripur, keep in mind it's not in Islamabad. The driving gives pleasure to reach the restaurant. Heaven for adventurous foodies. People enjoy the scenic beauty and enjoy freshly cooked food. A quality eatery with a vast variety of dishes they offer. Food quality, taste, and service are 10/10. No doubt one of the best experiences I had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
After an enjoyable drive in the hills you reach this fantastic hotel resort. The main hotel building is complete and has very comfortable and large rooms. The rest of the resort facilities are still under construction, though it doesn't impact your stay in anyway. Beautiful surroundings and a calm atmosphere with an impressive mountain top restaurant make for a very relaxing stay.
A very good hang out and resort spot for families and newly wed. The ambience is great and the rooms are very clean. The service is prompt too. A very well maintained hotel and deserves a thumps up!
Although it's scenic and all, but the prices are not justified by any definition. They sell instant coffee made by a steamer (or whatever it is called, the apparatus used by roadside instant coffee sellers) for 455 rupees. I would buy a coffee there for 600 rupees if they brew it from beans, because yes, the location and views justify some additional price, but at least sell something good. There's a difference between charging extra and ripping off.
The location is stunning. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Everything is decorated to perfection and will make you go wow. The staff is super super friendly. The food at their Pine Tree restaurant is finger licking good and so is their shisha. The best thing is that it is also very affordable, the prices are so reasonable. It is known as a 5 star hotel but it is has the perks and look of a 7 star hotel or even better than most of them. I highly highly recommend staying at Highland.
