Words cant explain what he has done for me. I was scared going through 9 years of pain. Last 5 months I stayed in bed couldnt move. Eventually made my way to his office and he made me get a CTscan. No other dr had asked for one. I heard lots of scary stories about local doctors and was a little apprehensive at first. Spoke to a surgeon in Houston who actually said for me to get Dr. Desai's opinion and he will perform whatever he says no questions asked. That got me thinking. I asked Desai's nurse and she said his opinion is very respected and that's the moment I decided he will be the one to perform the surgery. Dr.Desai made me and my family feel so comfortable. He answered all our questions and explained everything so we were as confident as he was. I had a really bad spasm and caused my whole leg to go numb he was willing to do surgery that night but I said no I was so scared and couldn't do it. But to know that he would do that for me has made me forever grateful for this man and his team. When it came to surgery day he explained everything o e more time and answered all questions. I was not scared at all! I was confident and so was he. So happy my life was forever changed March 4, 2019. Day after surgery I could walk with the help of therapist. 3 weeks later I'm recovering very well my incision looks perfect! So straight and clean. 100% would chose Dr. Desai all over again. Recommend him to friends and family may God continue to bless you and your team!

Had MRI done and waited 2 months for appointment only to be told the study was not complete. When I went to the imaging center they stated this is what they give all neurosurgeons. I asked Dr. Desai office what study they needed and they were of no help. Was told by Desai's office they would contact the imaging center and they would call me right back. They never did, I had to call them myself. To no avail they asked me to come back for another appointment with the same scans the doctor did not want and was unable to tell imaging center what study they needed. Such a dissappointment.

Dr Desai removed and replaced my brother’s shunt. My brother suffered an aneurysm and is currently being treated by Dr Desai. We prayed for the best doctors to treat him, and our prayers have been answered. Thank you Dr Desai for taking your profession so serious and to give us hope that our brother is and will get better.
